Parents don’t know enough about dental care as they should.

There were 20 percent of the parents that incorrectly thought that they only had to take their children to the dentist when their teeth appeared. Also, only half of fathers and 63 percent of mothers made sure their children regularly brushed their teeth.
Currently, 30 percent of all children suffer from tooth decay.
It’s recommended that children see the dentist at least once every three months to a year. They should also see the dentist prior their second birthday.
A problem for many parents is that they don’t know there are preventative tooth decay methods available for young children, such as fluoride varnish helping to make the enamel stronger.
